Robert De Vere III Earl of was born in 1160 in Hatfield, Broad Oaks, Essex, England. Robert De Vere III Earl of's father was Aubrey De Vere III Earl of Oxford and his mother was Agnes De Essex. His paternal grandparents were Aubery II De Vere Earl of Oxford and Adeliza Alice De Clare; his maternal grandparents were Henry de Essex and Cicely. He had three brothers and a sister, named Aubrey De Vere IV Earl of, Henry, Ralph and Alice. He died at the age of 61 on October 25th, 1221 in Essex, England.General Notes
