Finn O'Caellaide King of was born in 1035.  Finn O'Caellaide King of's father was Dunlaing O'Caellaide and his mother was Dirborgaill ingen Taidg of Ossory.  His maternal grandfather was Tadg macGilla P·traic of Ossory. He had two half-brothers named Toirrdelbach O'Brien King of Munster and and Murnough Murcertach.  He died at the age of 81 in 1116.

He had a biological daughter named Gormflaith ingen Finn.
