Nest Verch was born in 1079 in Herefordshire, England.  Nest Verch's father was Osborn FitzRichard and her mother was Nest Verch Nesta Verch Gruffydd.  Her maternal grandparents were Gruffydd LLewellyn King of Wales and Eldgyth Queen of England. She had a brother named Hugh.  She was the older of the two children. She had two half-brothers named Llywarch ap Trahaern Lord of and Owain Ap.  She died at the age of 84 in 1163.
