His maternal grandparents were Malcolm II MacKenneth King of Scotland and ORKNEY QUEEN SCOTLAND. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named BRUSSE ORKNEYS SIGURDSON and ORKNEY QUEEN SCOTLAND. He died at the age of 48 in 1057 in Battle at Christ's Kirk, Birdsey, Scotland. He was buried in 1st Earl of Caithness.General Notes
