Her paternal grandparents were Mathias OLSEN and Johanne HALVORSDATTER; her maternal grandparents were Christian LARSEN and Kari ERICKSDATTIR. She had a brother and five sisters, named Mathias, Johanne, Karen, Mathea, Elina and Berthe Marie. She was the youngest of the seven children. She died at the age of 82 on January 19th, 1954 in Rugby, North Dakota, U.S.A.. She was buried in Pelican Rapids, Minnesota, U.S.A..General Notes
