William III was born in 0947. William III's father was Count/Count Raymond III Pons OF TOULOUSE and his mother was Garsinde OF PROVENCE. He had two sisters named Luitgarde and Adelaide. He died at the age of 90 in 1037.General Notes
About 1020 Richard II, Duke of Normandy, places Ralph and hisson Roger, along with others, in charge of the castle ofTillieres to hold it against Odo of Chartres, the Duke'sbrother-in-law, who had revolted. Odo attacked the castle butwas routed and barely escaped with his life.
