King Edwin OF THE EAST SAXONS

Edwin's father was Earl Aelfgar III Of Mercia KING OF THE EAST SAXONS and his mother was Aelfgifu OF WESSEX. His paternal grandparents were Earl Leofric III Of Mercia and Lady Godiva OF COVENTRY; his maternal grandparents were Morcar OF NORTHUMBRIA and Ealdgyth OF MERCIA. He had a brother and two sisters, named Walter Of Sibton, Ealdgyth "Swan Neck" and Lucy. He died in 1071 in Battle with the Normans.
