Godizo was born in 1018. Godizo's father was Count Hunroch OF TRISTERBAUT. His paternal grandparents were Count Dierich OF DREANTHE and Amalrada OF HAMALANT. He was an only child. Godizo is no longer alive.General Notes
About 1020 Richard II, Duke of Normandy, places Ralph and hisson Roger, along with others, in charge of the castle ofTillieres to hold it against Odo of Chartres, the Duke'sbrother-in-law, who had revolted. Odo attacked the castle butwas routed and barely escaped with his life.
They had a son named Eberhard.
