Anna was born in 1036.  Anna's father was Grand Prince/Duke Yaroslav I "The Wise" OF KIEV and her mother was Princess Ingegerd OF SWEDEN.  Her paternal grandparents were Grand Duke/Saint Vladimir I OF KIEV and Anna OF THE BYZANTIUM EMPIRE; her maternal grandparents were King Olaf II "The Quiet" OF SWEDEN and Princess Astrid OF THE OBOTRITES. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Svyatopolk I Yaroslavich, Vladimir Yarolsavich, Isiaslav I, Vsevovld I, Dobronega Maria and Anastasiya Agmunda Yaroslavna.  She was the youngest of the seven children.  She died at the age of 30 in 1066.

‌Anna and Henry I Of France were married in a religious ceremony in 1049 in France.  They had two sons named Philip I "The Fair" OF France and Hugh "The Great" Of Vermandois.
