Cunigunde's father was Holy Roman Emperor Conrad I and her mother was Kunigunde OF SWABIA. She had a half-brother named Arnulf I "The Bad".General Notes
Credited with the first unification of the country, convertedthe Danes to Christianity, and conquered Norway. After hisBaptism his fathers pagan tomb was transformed into a Christianplace of worship.
Introduced Christianity into Denmark, he had the famous Jellingrune stone erected in his parent memory. He was fatally woundedduring a rebellion by his son and successor, Sveng I.
