Henry I "Beauclerc" "The Good Scholar" was born in September 1068 in Selby, Yorkshire, England and his baptism took place on August 6th, 1100 in Acceded the throne, Westminster Abbey.  Henry I "Beauclerc" "The Good Scholar"'s father was King William I The Conqueror "The Bastard" Duke of Normandy OF ENGLAND and his mother was Matilda OF FLANDERS.  His paternal grandparents were Robert I "The Magnificent" "The Devil" DUKE OF NORMANDY and Herleva DE FAILAISE. He had four sisters named Adela Of England, Gundred, Alveva and Maud Margaret.  He was the second youngest of the five children. He had two half-brothers named William Of Whittington and William II.  He died at the age of 67 on December 1st, 1135.  He was buried in Reading Abbey.
