Goda was born in 1009 in Wessex, England.  Goda's father was King Aethelred II "The Unready" Of England and her mother was Queen Emma "Beauclerc" OF ENGLAND.  Her paternal grandparents were King Edgar "The Peaceable" Of England and Elfrida OF DEVONSHIRE; her maternal grandparents were Duke/Duke Richard I "The FearLess" Of Normandy and Duchess Gunnora Of Normandy DE CREPON OF DENMARK. She had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named Edmund II "Ironside" Of England, Aelfgifu, Aethelreda and Virginia.  She died about 1055.

‌Goda and Drogo OF AMIENS, MANTES, VEXIN were married in a religious ceremony about 1025.  They had a son named Ralph "The Staller" "The Timid" Of Hereford and Suffolk.
