Borrell II was born in 0948.  Borrell II's father was Count/Count Sunifred Of Barcelonia OF BESALU and his mother was Adelaide DE TOULOUSE.  His paternal grandparents were Count Wilfred I "El Velloso OF BESALU The Hairy" and Countess Guinidilda OF FLANDERS Widnille; his maternal grandparents were Count Armengol Of Rougergue DE TOULOUSE and Adelhaide OF TOULOUSE.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 44 in 0992.

They had three sons named Raymond Borrel I, Armengol "El DE Cordoba" DE Urgel and Ermengaud I.
