Ermengarde OF ANJOU

Ermengarde was born in 1018 in Semur, Anjou, France.  Ermengarde's father was Count/ Fulk III "The Black" Of Aujou and her mother was Countess Hildegarde Of Anjou DE METZ.  Her paternal grandparents were Count Geoffrey I "Grisgonelle" "greymantel" Of Aujou DE ANJOU and Adelaide DE VERMANDOIS; her maternal grandparents were Count/ William II "Iron Arm" OF POITOU and Countess Emma Of Champagne OF BLOIS. She had a brother and a sister, named Ivo FitzRichard Baron Kendall and Ermagarde.  She was the oldest of the three children. She had a half-sister named Adel.  She died at the age of 57 in 1075.

‌Ermengarde and Geoffrey II "Ferreol" were married in a religious ceremony in 1035.  They had two sons and a daughter, named Fulk IV "The Rude", Ivo and Hildegarde.
