William was born in 1001 in Of, Normandy, France.  William's father was Richard II "The Good" Normandy [Duke] and his mother was Judith De Bretagne Princess De Bretagne.  His paternal grandparents were Richard I "The Fearless" Duke Of Normandy and [Duchess Of Nor Gunnora (Gundra) De Crepon [Duchess Of Nor; his maternal grandparents were Conan I Duke Of Bretagne Comte De Rennes and Ermangarde D' Anjou [Duchess]. He had three brothers and seven sisters, named Richard III Duke Of, Robert I "The Magnificent" Duke Of, Mauger Seigneur De, Adelais (Judith), Fredesenda Of, Judith Of, Alice Adelaide Of, Eleanore Princess Of, Miss Princess Of and Daughter Of.  He died at the age of 24 in June 1025.
