Emma of was born in 0975 in NORMANDY, FRANCE.  Emma of's father was Richard I "the Fearless" 3rd Duke Normandy and her mother was Gunnora (Gundra) de Crepon.  Her paternal grandparents were William I "Longsword" Duke of Normandy and SPROTE  DE SENLIS; her maternal grandparents were Herbastus de Crepon forester of arque and GUNHILD OLAFSDATTER. She had four brothers and a sister, named Richard II "The Good" Duke of, Robert Archbishop of, Geoffrey (Godfrey) d', Mauger Count de and Beatrice de.  She was the second youngest of the six children. She had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Godfrey FitzRichard Count of, Guillaume "the Bastard", Guillaume Hieme Count d', Hawise of and Pappia of.  She died at the age of 77 on March 6th, 1052 in WINCHESTER, HAMPSHIRE, ENGLAND.  She was buried in 1052 in St Martins Church, Winchester, Hants, ENG.
