Associates of Prophet's father was Prophet Nathan (Nosson), servant of David ben Jesse. His paternal grandfather was Priestly Associates of David ben Jesse. He had three brothers named (Igal) Joel ben, Azariah ben and Zabud (Zabad) ben. Associates of Prophet is no longer alive.
He had two biological sons named Solomon (Jedidiah) (Shlomo) ben and David King of Isreal (Hamelech) ben.
