Godfrey Count of was born in 1067 in Namur, France. Godfrey Count of's father was Albert IV Count of Namur and his mother was Ida Billung of Saxony. His paternal grandparents were Albert III Count of Namur and Regilinde of Lower Lorraine; his maternal grandparents were Bernard II Duke of Saxony and Elicia Von Schweinfurt. He had a brother and a sister, named Henry I Comte de and Adelaide de. He was the oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 72 on August 19th, 1139 in Abbey of Florette, France.-
