Godfrey Count of was born in 1067 in Namur, France.  Godfrey Count of's father was Albert III Count of Namur and his mother was Ida Billung of Saxony.  His paternal grandmother was Regilinde of Lower Lorraine. He had a brother and a sister, named Henry I Comte de and Adelaide de.  He was the oldest of the three children.  He died at the age of 72 on August 19th, 1139 in Abbey of Florette, France.
