Brother of Geoffrey was born about 1085 in Lazenby, Cumberland, England.  Brother of Geoffrey's father was Ralph Meurdach , Sir. He had two brothers named Geoffrey and Ralph.  He was the oldest of the three children.  Brother of Geoffrey is no longer alive.

He had a biological daughter named Hawise Helewise.
