Joane (Isabel) De was born about 1194 in Elmley, Worcestershire, England.  Joane (Isabel) De's father was Lord Of Wigmore Roger De Mortimer Lord Of Wigmore and her mother was Millicent De Ferrers.  Her paternal grandparents were Lord Of Wigmore Hugh De Mortimer Lord Of Wigmore and Maud De Meschines; her maternal grandparents were Walkelin  De Ferrers [3Rd Earl Derby] and Sybil De Braose. She had a brother and two sisters, named Hugh De, Miss De and Miss De. She had four half-brothers and a half-sister, named Ralph De, Roger, Robert, Philip and Sibyl.  She died in 1268.
