Roger de Moels , of Lustleigh, Sir Knight 
Roger de was born before 1280 in Cadbury, Tiverton, Somerset, England. Roger de's father was Roger de Moels , of Cadbury & Maperton, Sir Knt. His paternal grandparents were Nicholas de Moels , of Watlington & Cadbury and Hawise de Newmarch , Heiress of Cadbury. He had two brothers named Vincent de and John 1st Baron de. He died in December 1323 in Lustleigh, Newton Abbot, Devonshire, England.General Notes
(c) Roger de Moels of Lustleigh, Devon, was perhaps a younger son of his [Roger de Moels, d. 1295]. This Roger was a King's yeoman in 1301, and m. Alice, aged 30 and more in 1316, daughter and heir of William la Prouz by Alice, coheir of William de Reyny. This Roger's son William is mentioned in 1318, possibly son by an earlier wife and dsp & vp. His widow Alice, d. in 1335, her heirs being three daughters, apparently by an earlier husband, who were all over 30 years of age at their mother's death. This Alice has been mistakenly called the wife of Roger de Moels (d. 1295) and of Roger his grandson (d. 1316). [Complete Peerage, IX:5 note (c), XIV:5]
Note: Volume XIV states that the "younger son" about should be replaced with "younger brother", which I am not doing. This would make Roger a younger brother of another Roger, which while possible, is extremely rare. I will go with Ancestral Roots on this one.
