Maud le was born about 1131 in Skipton-in-Craven, Yorkshire, England.  Maud le's father was William le Meschin , Lord of Copeland and her mother was Cecily de Rumilly , Heiress Skipton & Harewood. She had two sisters named Avice le and Alice de.  She was the youngest of the three children.  She died in 1190.


Maud le's first family with Phillip de Belmeis , Lord of Tong & Ashby

‌Maud le and Phillip de were married in a religious ceremony before 1139.  They had a daughter named Alice de.


Maud le's second family with Hugh de Mortimer , Lord of Wigmore

‌Maud le and Hugh de were married in a religious ceremony before 1158 in 2nd husband.  They had three sons named Roger de, Bartholomew de and Robert de.
