Her paternal grandparents were Berthold V Count of Andechs & Innsbruck and Hedwig von Formbach-Putten; her maternal grandparents were Dedo V Count of Groitsch-Rochlitz and Mathilde von Heinsberg. She had a brother and a sister, named Otto I Duke of and Gertrude of. She was the oldest of the three children. She died on October 15th, 1243 in Trzebnica, Wroclaw, Poland.-
