Ellen McBurnie 
Ellen was born about 1848 in Nova Scotia. Ellen's father was James McBurnie and her mother was Margaret Maria Fulmore. Her paternal grandparents were David McBurnie and Mary Simpson. She had two brothers and a sister, named Andrew Sprague, Albert and Susan A.
Ellen and Harris were married in a religious ceremony on October 31st, 1876 in Five Islands, Colchester, Nova Scotia.
