Maud Of was born in 1145 in Clermont, Beauvais, Oise, France.  Maud Of's father was [Crusader]/ Renauld II Count Of Clermont [Crusader]/ and her mother was Clemence Of Bar-Le-Duc.  Her paternal grandparents were Hugh I De Creil Clermont [Count Cleremont] and Margaret De Montdidier [Countess Of Cle; her maternal grandparents were Renaud I Count De Mousson & Bar-Le-Duc and Gisele De Vaudemont. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Simon I De, Raoul "The Red" De, Constance De and Marguerite De.  She died at the age of 55 in October 1200 in London, Middlesex, England.
