Charlemagne , Holy Roman Emperor was born on April 2nd, 0747 in Aachen, Rhineland, Prussia.  Charlemagne , Holy Roman Emperor's father was King of France/III Pbepin Martel France III and his mother was Berthe (Bertrade) "Broadfoot" Countess of Laon.  His paternal grandparents were Charles (Karl) 'the Hammer' , Mayor of the Martel and Chrotrude (Rotrou) of Alemania Duchess of Austra; his maternal grandfather was Claribert I (Heribert Cambert) Count of Laon. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Carloman Martel, Pepin , Prince of The Franks, Rothaide , Princess of France, Adbelahide , Princess of France, Gertude , Princess of The Franks, Bertha , Lady of The Franks, Gisele , Princess of France and Ade , Princess of The Franks.  He was the third oldest of the nine children.  He died in Aachen, Rhineland, Prussia.
