Her paternal grandparents were Gilbert le Gilbert , of Winterbourne/, of Winterbourne, King's Marshal and Miss de Venuz; her maternal grandparents were Walter of Salisbury , Sheriff of Wiltshire and Sibyl de Chaworth. She had two brothers and a sister, named John le, William and Margaret. She was the second youngest of the four children.-
