Maud Marshal 
Maud was born about 1148 in Rockley, Marlborough, Wiltshire, England. Maud's father was John "The Marshal" FitzGilbert , of Rockley and her mother was Sibyl de Salisbury. She had two brothers and a sister, named John le, William and Margaret. She was the second youngest of the four children.
