Cadwallon Ap was born about 0966 in Of, Deheubarth, Wales.  Cadwallon Ap's father was [King] Maredudd Ap Owain [King] and his mother was Miss Verch Llandilo.  His paternal grandparents were [King] Owain Ap Howell [King] and Angharad Verch Llewelyn. He had a brother and two sisters, named Rhys Ap, Lleucu Verch and Angharad Verch.  He was the second oldest of the four children.  He died in 0992.
