Ogive of was born about 0995 in Luxemburg. Ogive of's father was Frederick I Count of Salm & Luxembourg and her mother was Irmentrude of Gleiberg. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Giselbert I Count of Salm Longwy &, Frederick II Count of, Hermann I von, Irmtrud Judith Countess of and Gisele of. She was the second oldest of the six children. She died in Flanders, France.
