Giselbert De Salm I Count of Luxembourg

Giselbert De Salm I Count of was born in 1003 in Chateau De Salm, Luxembourg.  Giselbert De Salm I Count of's father was Frederick I Duke of Luxemburg and his mother was Ermentrude von Gleiberg.  His paternal grandparents were Count Of Luxemburg Siegfried (or Siegfroi I) Duke of Luxemburg Count Of Luxemburg and Hedwige D'Alsace Von Nordgau; his maternal grandparents were Count Heribert Graf Von Gleiberg Count and Irmtrude von Avalgau. He had a brother and three sisters, named Frederick Count Of, Ogive (or Otgiva) of, Judith (Irmtrude) of and Gisele of.  He was the second youngest of the five children.  He died at the age of 56 on August 14th, 1059.
