Raoul I De was born in 1164 in La Marche, Poitou, France.  Raoul I De's father was Hugh Viiia De Lusignan and his mother was Mrs. Orengarde (Nmn-Hugh Viiia) Lusignan. He had a brother named Hugh IX De.  He was the younger of the two children.  He died at the age of 55 on May 1st, 1219 in Shenton, Leicestershire, England.  He was buried in Fontblanche Priory, Exoudun.
