Thomas de was born about 1265 in Ludlow, Shropshire, England. Thomas de's father was Lawrence de Ludlowe , Sir. His paternal grandfather was Nicholas de Ludlowe , Sir. He had a brother named William de. He was the younger of the two children. He died after 1298 in Scrivelsby, Lincolnshire, England.
