Thomas de Lucy , of Copeland, Sir Knight 
Thomas de was born about 1225 in Copeland, Cumberland, England. Thomas de's father was Alan de Multon , of Copeland and his mother was Alice de Lucy. His paternal grandparents were Thomas II de Multon , Sir and Sarah de Flete; his maternal grandparents were Richard de Lucy , Lord of Copeland and Ada de Morville. He had a sister named Joan de. He was the older of the two children. He died before April 9th, 1305.General Notes
THOMAS DE LUCY, son and heir, had livery, of his mother's lands 28 April 1288, his homage being respited till the King's next coming to England. About 1250 he sued out a writ by the name of Thomas, son of Alan de Multon. He was summoned for military service against the Welsh in March 1282, and later in the year fined for one knight's fee in Cumberland. He is described as a knight in 1300. In 1304 he and his cousin Thomas de Multon were claiming Cockermouth, Skipton, and Radston as joint heirs of Aveline de Forz, Countess of Aumale (died 1274).
He married Isabel, daughter and coheir of Adam DE BOLTEBY, son and heir of Nicholas DE BOLTEBY, by Philippe, daughter and heir of Adam DE TYNDAL. He died before 9 April 1305, when the writs to the escheators issued. [Complete Peerage VIII:249, (transcribed by Dave Utzinger)]
