Lambert I "The Bearded" Count of was born about 0950 in Louvain, Brabant, Belgium.  Lambert I "The Bearded" Count of's father was Regnier III "Long Neck" Count of Hainault and his mother was Adele of Louvain.  His paternal grandparents were Regnier II Count of Hainault and Adelaide of Burgundy; his maternal grandfather was Lambert Count of Louvain. He had a brother named Regnier IV Count of.  He was the older of the two children.  He died on September 12th, 1015 in Battle of Florennes.
