Josceline de Louvain , Lord of Petworth 
Josceline de was born in 1121 in Louvain, Belgium. Josceline de's father was Godfrey Count of Louvain , Duke of Brabant and his mother was Clemence Clementia of Burgundy. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Godfrey II Count of and Adeliza Adela of. He died before September 1180 in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England.General Notes
Jocelin or Josceline, of Louvain (thought to have died by Michaelmas 1180), of Petworth, Sussex, half-brother of Queen Adela (who presented Jocelin with the Petworth lands), 2nd wife of Henry I, and son of Godfrey I "Barbatus" ("The Bearded"), Duke of Lower Lorraine, by his 2nd wife. Jocelin/Josceline, of Louvain; married Agnes, 2nd daughter but eventual heiress of William de Percy and had issue, the 1st Duke of Northumberland of the 1766 creation choosing the title "Lord Lovaine, Baron of Alnwick" when also given a Barony 1784 in commemoration of this ancestral connection.
