Jocelin or Josceline, of Louvain (thought to have died by Michaelmas 1180), of Petworth, Sussex, half-brother of Queen Adela (who presented Jocelin with the Petworth lands), 2nd wife of Henry I, and son of Godfrey I "Barbatus" ("The Bearded"), Duke of Lower Lorraine, by his 2nd wife. Jocelin/Josceline, of Louvain; married Agnes, 2nd daughter but eventual heiress of William de Percy and had issue, the 1st Duke of Northumberland of the 1766 creation choosing the title "Lord Lovaine, Baron of Alnwick" when also given a Barony 1784 in commemoration of this ancestral connection.
