Stephanie (Etiennette) de was born about 1035 in Longwy, Duchy of Bar, Lorraine, France.  Stephanie (Etiennette) de's father was Adalbert III Count Longwy , Duke Upper Lorraine and her mother was Clemence de Foix.  Her paternal grandparents were Gerhard II Count of Metz and Gisella of Alsace; her maternal grandparents were Bernard Rodger Seigneur de Foix , Count Bigorre and Gersinde Countess de Bigorre. She had a sister named Ermesinde de.  She was the younger of the two children.  She died after 1088.
