Her paternal grandparents were Prince of North Wales Iowerth "Drwyndwn" Ap Owain Prince of North Wales and Marared Verch Madog; her maternal grandparents were Llywarch 'Goch' Ap Iowerth and Tangwystyl Verch Llywarch. She had a brother and a sister, named Gruffydd Ap and Marared 'Margaret' Verch. She was the oldest of the three children. She had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Daffyd Ap, Angarad Verch and Elen Verch. She died in 1251 in Windsor, Berkshire, England.-
