Gerard De was born in 1246 in Kingston Lisle, Sparsholt, Berkshire, England. Gerard De's father was Robert De Lisle and his mother was Heiress Of Kingston Lisle Alice Fitzgerold Heiress Of Kingston Lisle. His paternal grandparents were Robert De Insula and Sarah De Aunus; his maternal grandparents were Henry Fitzgerold and Ermentruda Talbot. He had a brother and a sister, named Robert De and Elizabeth De. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died before November 1288.General Notes
Meanwhile in 1357 a Gerard de Lisle...and grandson of another Gerard who had acquired the Berkshire manor of Kingston Lisle from his mother, was called to Parliament by writ.
