He had four brothers and a sister, named Donnchad Macd˙nlaing O'toole King Of, Donncuan Macd˙nlaing O'toole King Of, Murchad Macd˙nlaing O'toole King Of, Augaire Macd˙nlaing O'toole King Of and Maelcorcre Ingen D˙nlaing.  He died at the age of 68 in 1018.
