Robert FitzParnell De Harcourt Earl Of was born in 1155.  Robert FitzParnell De Harcourt Earl Of's father was Robert De Beaumont III Earl of Leicester and his mother was Petronilla De Grendmesnil.  His paternal grandparents were Robert De Beaumont II Earl of Leicester and Amicia De La Ware; his maternal grandparents were Hugh De Grentmesnil II Lord Grentmesnil and Adelhyde De Gaunt. He had three sisters named Hawise, Amice and Margaret.  He was the youngest of the four children.
