William IV 2nd Baron le was born about 1276 in Danby Manor, Scampston, Malton, East Ride Yorkshire, England.  William IV 2nd Baron le's father was William III 1st Baron le Latimer , of Corby and his mother was Alice de Ledet , Heiress of Corby.  His paternal grandparents were William II le Latimer , Lord of Danby, Sir and Alice Hansard; his maternal grandparents were Walter de Ledet , of Corby and Ermentrude de Lisle. He had two sisters named Joan le and Christian le.  He was the second oldest of the three children.  He died before July 23rd, 1317 in Corby, Northamptonshire, England.  He was buried in Guisborough Priory, North Ride Yorkshire, England.
