Henry I the Child von Hesse was born on June 24th, 1244.  Henry I the Child von Hesse's father was Henri de Brabant II Duc de Brabant and his mother was Marie Hohenstaufen of Swabia. He had a brother and two sisters, named Henri de Brabant III, Elizabeth and Matilda.  He died at the age of 64 on December 21st, 1308.
