John FitzRichard de was born about 1150 in Lincoln, Lincolnshire, England.  John FitzRichard de's father was Richard FitzEustace Lord Clavering , Baron Halton and his mother was Albreda "Aubrye" de Lisoures.  His paternal grandparents were Eustace FitzJohn , of Alnwick, Constable Cheshire and Agnes FitzNeel; his maternal grandparents were Robert "Eudo" de Lisoures , of Sprotborough and Albreda "Aubrye" de Lacy. He had two sisters named Mary and Aubrey.  He was the oldest of the three children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Roger, William and Miss.  He died on October 11th, 1190 in Tyre, Palestine.
