William LE DESPENCER 
William was born in 1039. William's father was Robert LE DESPENCER. His paternal grandparents were Amaury ARBITOT and Helisinda. He was an only child. He died at the age of 80 in 1119.General Notes
Founded the first 5 Royal Tribes and restored the Crown ofGweynedd in 1081. Was imprisoned by the Normans in Chester in1081-1093 in Bangor Cathedral.
He had a biological daughter named Emeline.
