Roland LA STRANGE 
Roland was born in 1125 in Cheswardine, Shropshire. Roland's father was Guy LA STRANGE. His paternal grandparents were Hoel LA STRANGE and Hawise. He was an only child. He died at the age of 33 in 1158.General Notes
The Pipe Roll proves William Tregoze to have been a man of greatconsequence, and to have been concerned in Norfolk, Essex, Berksand Lincolnshire.
‌Roland and Matilda LE BRUN DE HUNSTANTON were married in a religious ceremony about 1141 in Cheswardin. They had two sons and a daughter, named John I, Ralph Of Little Ercall and Margaret.
