Comfort was born on February 28th, 1729. Comfort's father was Joseph LANGWORTHY and her mother was Elizabeth BURDICK. Her paternal grandparents were Robert LANGWORTHY and Mary BROWNELL; her maternal grandparents were Deacon Robert BURDICK and Rebecca FOSTER. She had three brothers and a sister, named Robert, Joseph, Andrew and Elizabeth. She was the oldest of the five children.-
