His paternal grandparents were Jaroslaus I "The Wise" Grand Duke of Kiev and Ingegard Olafsdottir; his maternal grandparents were Misceyslaw (Mieszko) II King of Poland and Rixa (Richenza) de Lorraine. He was an only child. He died at the age of 63 on April 16th, 1113.-
