General Notes

1 Nephi 1:4 relates: For it came to pass in the commencement of the first year of the reig n of Zedekiah, king of Judah, (my father, Lehi, having dwelt in Jerusalem in all his days); a nd in that same year there came many prophets, prophesying unto the people that they must rep ent, or the great city of Jerusalem must be destroyed. (This is estimated in Book of Mormon f ootnotes to be about 600 BC.)  "Zedekiah was one and twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years i n Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Hamutal the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah." (Jeremia h 52:1)  "And the sons of Josiah were, the firstborn Johanan, the second Jehoiakim, the third Zedekiah , the fourth Shallum." (1 Chronicles 3:15)
